Our Programmes - Water Aid Matters in Africa

On average women and children spend over 2 hours a day collecting water while journeys of 6-7 hours are not unusual in areas on the central plateau. Source Water Aid.

In the decade 2005-2015 that the UN aims to bring water to the world we aim to do our bit for the people of Tanzania through the charity Pipe Dreams.

This charity has already installed projects that have brought water to over 5000 people. Pipe Dreams through the assistance of volunteer engineers has also completed surveys that aim to install projects throughout the whole of the Longido district Arusha region North Tanzania East Africa.

The charity aims to raise enough funds to do this by the year 2013 bringing water to over 20 000 people.

Help us to achieve our goals by volunteering to install water projects or by making a donation via our donation service .
